I was over at What's On My Mind Today and saw his post from February 2nd where he talks about the trial and conviction of Baby Grace's mother. I have to confess that I missed this development because I don't see the news or read much in the way of the news, not to mention that last week was quite busy for me.
I'm pleased to know that this woman was convicted of this horrible crime. I just can't understand how anybody could hurt a small child. I know kids can be frustrating, but to treat them so brutally... I'll just never understand.

I, too, will never understand brutality toward children, or anyone for that matter. Violence just makes absolutely NO sense to me.

Yea, I don't understand it either. I just saw a talk show that told the story about a boy who went missing 10 years ago and the adoptive parents (and no one else for that matter) didn't report it. This world seems to be getting crazier and crazier by the day.

Yes, I agree with you. Parents should be the protector and nurturer of their kids not their tormentor and killer. It is really reprehensible to read this kind of news. Thanks for featuring the story. God bless you always.
I'll never understand this terrible cruelty either. It really makes me sick to my stomach. I have a 4 year old and would do anything to protect her. You'd think any mother would do this. Thanks for sharing this story. Hope you have a great day.
People like this disgusted me. We just has a terrible incident here a few weeks ago where a father through his 4 year old daughter to her death off our cities biggest bridge while her 2 older brothers were in the car. It is alleged the father did this over a custody batter with the mother.
Liss, I heard about that. It's horrible. Can you imagine what those boys will go through for the rest of their lives now. I don't know how your legal system works there, but I hope that man suffers.
