Keep Them Happy

The key to happy children is a steady supply of food.

It probably doesn't even matter what kind of food you give them.

Also, when they're eating they tend to be quiet(er)... This makes Mom happy, too.

It may not always matter, but chocolate chip cookies win over pretzels and carrots.

No doubt.

I generally keep chocolate in the house for those days when I just can't seem to make them happy no matter what I do.

Chocolate ALWAYS works.

A very simple solution to make children happy and keep them quiet. Yes, children loves to eat always but there are some kids who are very skimpy in eating food. Good that you don't have any problems with your kids regarding the food that they eat. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

LOL! But you do have to watch what food you are feeding them to make sure they are in good health. :)

Mel - We've had our share of pickyness. Kira won't eat hardly any meat or anything with "sauces" that are red. No spaghetti or anything of that nature for her.

Marisa isn't nearly as picky about her food.

Both girls love carrots and lettuce, oatmeal, eggs - enough of a variety to make sure they are eating enough.

BK - Healthy eating is important. I don't forbid any food, though, because I have found that forbidden foods become more desired. I let them have sodas, candy, etc. I also offer a wide variety of vegetables and other healthy foods. Amazingly, they often choose the good stuff over the bad stuff because they know that they can have the "bad" stuff whenever they ask for it. (within reason)

Where were you earlier this week when they were making me nuts?? I'd have gladly fed them ANYTHING if it'd change their behavior.

My grand daughter will not eat hardly any meat. She likes baloney, and ham. But luckily she likes fruit. We fill her up on that.
